FS: Subframe Collars

UP for sale is a gently used set of 5/5.5 gen Sub-frame collars. Had these for roughly 6 months or so. Decided to take them off. Still in great shape, some scuffing from installation and removal, nothing impacting application...just cosmetic. I can provide images. These were bought new for $90. I've found there is a recent price drop, so I've adjusted the price. You can also make a reasonable offer.

Sale: $60 shipped.
Paypal: Mxmumpwr@aol.com for payment.

SOLD

Don't get me wrong, great product, great mod....just does not suit my car, my driving habits, or passengers. Simply, they were just not condusive to what I want in my car given my suspension/drop, the type of roads I drive, and fact my car is used for family. With the Eibachs/Tok Blues and 18" Z wheels, I felt the collars made the rough parts of the road too sharp. The best way I can describe is that it made the front end feel like I was running even lower, with bumps and pot holes feeling like I was hitting them 1.5-2 X's harder. I just felt I lost more than I gained with this mod.

If this was my "toy" then I'd keep them. But, I've got my '89 turbo and 260z to play with.

LOL! Additionally, the money will help pay for the new Cattman headers, y-pipe, and fastcat coming!

Oh wierd I didnt feel that sort of change and me and you have a similar setup even the same wheels. Maybe because Im on Stechs (2" drop) Im already riding pretty rough to not feel the difference

Just noticed the price drop on these new. Apparently they are being discontinued. So, I'll adjust price to $60 shipped. Still saves a little. Otherwise I'll keep them till demand goes back up.

interesting to hear your impressions. I would get them, but I have a LTB Stage II. I dont think all 4 locations would definately work with the LTB. Essientially the LTB does the same by 40x plus alot more.
