Expensive because the parts alone put into these lights are close expensive. Not too add the amount of time and labor he put into them. However, who ever buys them will be MORE than satisfied with their purchase. Look great and perform even better. These things light up the entire highway with ease

don't know why you people are complaining about price ... Our headlights alone cost 400-600 brand new each. Not to mention he added two projectors to each of them. If I had the money I would buy these but I do not. GLWS

I'm interested in these. I got a faulty set off eBay that I'm returning this week and once I get the refund from those I'll be in touch.

I understand that the cost is about 5-10% of the car cost but expensive, NO way. He is basically asking for the parts cost alone. This light done in the pro- retrofitter will cost at least that much for the labor alone.

Wow awesome setup! I can vouch for the man hours required to complete such a retrofit. Functionally, they are worth every penny.

For those of you who have never experienced a retrofit in person, you are missing out. Hell, just check out the thread he posted regarding the retro. The pictures are awesome, but seriously, any retro looks sooooo much better in person. Personally, I will never go back to stock halogens or any sort of HID/reflector combo. I simply do not feel safe driving at night with anything but a retro (or a car that has OEM HID projectors). I'll preach all damn day about the awesomeness of a retrofit if I have to.

GLWS!

These haven't sold yet??? y'all are nuts!! if I didn't do a retro myself I would ****** these up. A setup like this would run you at LEAST 950, thats including buying a set of headlights to ship them out to black flame, or lightwerks. I didn't care for the reflector based HID low beam of the Maxima... this is a NIGHT and DAY upgrade especially if you live in the middle of but kcuf nowhere.

GLWS Greg, and to be honest i would've asked for more lol.... but apparently people are cheap on here...
