Not a problem. This info will help people who are doing a 6 speed swap as well. To repeat what SurraTT said, these are actually 06 Altima cables, but they are exactly the same as 05 Maxima cables, which to my knowledge are exactly like 5.5 gen cables.

Also the brackets for the transmission are slightly different between the years but actually have the same cable mounting points. I know this from first hand use as I was having issues mounting my cables for my 6 speed swap and used both.

As my post stated, I am willing to assume that L31 Altima = A34 Maxima cables.

So they're longer than 02-03 Maxima cables... By a good 5-6 inches.

I'm using L31 Altima cables in my 4th gen... They're just going a weird route in my engine bay, I should use heat wrap around them because I sent them around my headers to take up some of the extra slack in the cables, but I have not done this yet.

So if Surratt hasn't brought these yet and you're looking to 6MT swap your 4th/5th gen buy these cables and buy some heat shielding wrap.

Or you can always cut your hole in the firewall in a unique spot.

Many ways to do it, just know that these cables are on the long side (again, this is my assumption).

This was my concern with these cables.

So unless we can get confirmation that these are the SAME as 5.5 or 5-6 longer. I wont be buying them.

The main cable center of the mounting hole to center.

I didn't get precise measurements, but the longest cable (which I believe is the shift cable; it has the round circle end) is roughly 53" end to end, and the shortest cable (which I believe is the select cable; it has the plastic end) is roughly 47" end to end.
