What tuning device do you have

None at the moment.... I've been thinking about a tuner for my next mod because I read what it does for everyone..... But then I don't know quite everything about them and that makes me hesitate on it. Seems easy to "F" things up.

Get a wideband first. Then afc. Then hit me up. Can walk u through it

So can this work with a 4th gen MAF? Also, the dynos appear to show a pretty big dip in low end torque, am I seeing that correct?

I have a design for the 4th gen with one completed if youd like to be the test piggy. The car that we tested on, ran out of injector below 3k. above that it flew. Was actually irritating, because it was almost a launch situation at every light :eek:
but i can make a helluva deal if you are willing.


as for the dip, it is tune dependent. I had the same issue whenever my trans fluid warmed up. if you look at my manual dynos, no such issues.

Hmm, interesting. I would love to be a test piggy, but I don't have my Nistune ECU ready yet, but I'm hoping to have it in a month or so. If you don't mind me waiting a bit, then I would be happy to try it out! Did you test on a VQ30DE 4th gen? Because I have a 3.5 now, so the injectors might not be a problem. What were you using to compensate for the bigger MAF on that car?

We used a safc. And he had stock injs.
