Well gents and ladys, this is the first time I'm posting so here it goes. Right now sitting in my driveway is a 2002 Nissan Maxima SE that I am going to be stripping over the next few weeks/months. It has a blown motor, due to a faulty oil pump and me trying to make it home during a particularly cold night. Since there is more good to the car than bad. I'll just list the stuff that IS NOT for sale. Those things are as follows: Front valve cover, Rims/Tires, blower motor, and front/rear brake pads or rotors. I haven't started to part it out yet, but I figured if I knew what people were interested in, I could take it out and get you a price. The car is located in central Connecticut. If you want the item shipped, you will pay for the shipping costs. If you want to meet me somewhere in Central CT or Western MA, that is fine as well. All the body panels on the car are in relatively good condition(some scratches and dings, but it is a 12 year old car) but all in all, good condition. The "official" color of the car is Gray Lustre Clearcoat Metallic, and the interior seating is cloth and the color is charcoal. This car has the 6 speed manual transmission. Any questions please ask. The misses wants this thing out of the driveway by the end of the summer, and since I recently just got laid off, I have plenty of time to do it.

I put a list of parts that have been sold at the bottom, but I also wanted to give a list of stuff that I have already pulled out of the car that is ready to be shipped. Both headlights, great condition - $220.00

Radio with non-digital environmental controls - 95.00 (Without environmental controls 60)

Radiator(Manual transmission only, no TC) - 40.00

Radiator Fans - 40.00

Sunglass holder with Sunroof controls - 35.00

Any door(comes with all plastics, speakers, controls, everything) - 160.00 A piece, will do a deal if you want more than one door, pickup only for the doors.

Trunk lid with spoiler and lights - 135.00 pickup only

Passenger side airbag with plastic - 65.00

MAF with plastic housing this is OEM and works - 145.00

Hood (does have two scratches in it, but in good condition if you don't care or if you wanted to paint it) - 125.00 pickup only

Blower motor: 50.00 (this, along with the resistor, is almost brand new, it was only in the car for 2 weeks before the car died)

Blower motor resistor for non digital environmental controls: 60.00 (this item is almost brand new, it was only in the car for 2 weeks before the car died)

Rear bank Camshaft Position Sensor - 40.00

Ignition coils - Each coil would be 45 a piece, or if you buy all 6, it would be 180.00.

The car has 175K on it. And also the drivers seat is in good condition, all the motors work. So for the seat, bracket, and all the power motors would be 400 before shipping.

Not to be mean but I can get a set of oem 350z nismo seats for 400$ for both fronts. But I want a maxima seat could you do like 250

 

No worries! You're not being mean at all. Do those seats come with all the brackets and power motors and such? I want 4, you say 250. Is there anyway we can split the baby and do 325?

Also, I forgot to add in that the front driver side marker light, I needed to remove to put on my girlfriends car so thats gone as well.

It is the original and it should be in good condition, but just let me verify before i quote you a price. Do you happen to know if its the same part? I think it should be but from a 2k, i just like to be sure. I dont want to send you something that wont work.

I do have the axels, I have to take them out to see there condition, but the bottom boots near the wheels look good.

The precats I do have as well, however there were 175000 miles on the car when it died, so they are probably at the end of life and rusted to hell. I can check on them, but to be honest, I don't know if they are worth much.

And ya, let me know about the seats, I'm going to try to go through the car this weekend and take off as much as I can. I do have two spark plug jobs to do on both mine and my girlfriends 03 Maximas, so I'm going to be working around that but I'm going to take off as much as I can.

That said, I took of the front lights (the guy who asked me about them hasn't contacted me in a few days so I'm assuming he's no longer interested.) I'm going to give him a few more days and if he doesn't contact me, I'm going to contact a few others who inquired, but if they don't want them, they are up for grabs.

The side skirts, front bumper and rear bumper are spoken for, pending sale at the moment.

The drivers side door and gas door also maybe sold depending.

I may have the ignition coil and keys sold as well, I just have to try and find the keys.

The speed sensor and motor mounts may be sold as well.

I have pulled the alternator and will be bringing it down to have it tested.

I have taken out the MAF, its in good condition.

I have taken out the radiator and radiator fans as well as the upper radiator hose and all three are in good condition. Fans work, radiator and hose do not leak at all.

I took off the Air intake manifold, I did not touch the throttle body, it does need to be cleaned, however, I am undecided as to whether or not I am going to do it after reading all the stories on here.

I took out all 6 coil packs and I have also taken out the rear valve cover. All in good condition.

I'm going to try and remove a few more things tomorrow including the starter, rear lights, and I forget, but someone asked me about the bottom radiator supports, I was looking at it tonight and I don't see how I can get them off, however, it was rather dark when I looked so i may just have missed it. Just an FYI, all parts are completely OEM.

 

Another update, I brought the alternator down, had it tested, and it passed. It was working well before the car died as well.

I have had quite a few people PM me about parts, the lights that I thought were sold, I haven't heard from the individual in a while so they are being offered to who PM'd me next. If they don't want them, they are up for grabs.

Almost everything on the car is up for grabs and in good condition. Let me know what I can do! And if I offer you a price, and its to high, let me know, this is the first time I've parted out a car, so most things I will be flexible on the price. But please don't low ball me. I won't say names, but I have had a few people that have offered me ridiculous prices on things(basically they wanted me to pay the shipping and send them the stuff for free).

 

Hey by any vhane do you have the engine harness the # is 24011-5Y800for a 6spd trans if so how much I'm in Alabama

 

I definitely do have it, and all the clips and everything are intact and no damaged wires. But I gotta be honest, I would need a day to see what it entails taking this out of the car. If its something that is a full day project, I may want a little bit more for it, if its a few hours, less. And obviously I would want to get it out of the car without breaking any of it. Can you give me until tomorrow afternoon/night to do some research? Or if someone happens to know a good way to do it?

Hey, thank you for taking a look at my post. I'm not trying to be a jerk, but the answer to your first question was posted above. I take the time to update the board, and put the information out, that way I dont have to keep answering the same questions over snd over again. The car is a manual and as of right now, some one has spoken for the harness.

are you willing to cut out the Coolant Temperature Sensor Wire Connector?

I replaced the radiator along with the coolant temp sensor but ended up breaking the tab on it. Its still snug in there but i’d like to replace it to make sure it locks in place safely. let me know if you are willing to just send out the clip shipped to Denver, CO 80205
