WTB: 5.5 Manual Accelerator Pedal Assembly

Looking to buy a 2002/2003 manual Maxima accelerator pedal assembly - the entire assembly with bracket. **must have that stopper still intact within the metal bracket.**

Need shipping to Georgia.

when I though I needed a new pedal I just needed to replace the rubber stopper which Nissan tries to sell you the whole pedal assembly. it's the same rubber stopper as the one for the brake. not having the stopper makes the ECU glitch out and throttle body wont respond.. my 02 6MT is at 330,000 miles with no pedal issues..

I'm literally dealing with that exact issue. I've been using a taped-on penny as a temporary fix for the problem. However, it sounds like you're saying I can just purchase the same stopper that is used for the brake pedal? Confirming you've had no issue with this solution?

I know that my penny solution is causing problems because the stoppers are designed to maintain a specific distance for the pedal.

Thanks again, also let me know if you recall the part number.

Cheers

I don't recall the part number but the one for the brake pedal is the same as the one for the gas pedal, just different color. I changed mine years ago and no issues.

Thanks man, I went ahead and ordered a few. Will likely close this thread once they arrive and are installed.
