Another Short-throw-shifter question

I'll repeat my first series ...

does n e 1 other than Stillen make these 4 the Y2K? & can u get it cheaper than the $285 that's advertised on Stillen's site?

What's a reasonable amount of time 2 install one?

Next question ... I noticed but can't remember the name that someone on this board "made" their own short-throw by sawing of 1.5" from the stock shifter ... however ... no I cannot figure out how in the world this would make the throws shorter ... they should be exactly the same length ... n e comments?

I installed mine on my 2k SE in about 2 hours. The hardest part was dealing with the spring that holds the shifter in the center and filing the drivers side of the hole for clearance. I only paid $225 from Stillen for mine back in september.
