How to Identify a .ORG Member

I'm proposing that .ORG members have the NISMO stripes placed somewhere on their car. It doesn't necessarily have to be on the hood. That would be tight! What do you guys/girls think?

The stripes don't have to be that big. I know we have the stickers but I'm looking for a "sign", that unspoken symbol that represents something.
Tell me what's wrong with the strips.

1. They are ugly.
2. I don't drive a riced-out Honda Civic

How about the unspoken symbol of Maxima.org stickers which have been on sale through Jamie for some time. Of course, I won't have any on my car...EVER...but that's just me.

I know this has been discussed before, but I think hand signals are the best way to identify maxima.org members. My suggestion is the upside-down "OK" symbol with the left hand. The pinky, ring, and middle finger make the "M" and the index finger and thumb make the "O".

Personally, I'm not interested in putting a cheesy .org sticker on my car. That's worse than the stripes. I still like to maintain the argument that I'm not a geek.

What about me? I have a BMW so putting a Maxima.org sticker on my car would look kinda wierd. I also have this conflict with Benzsport.com stickers. I a member of boards where i don't actually have the car. Maybe I should get custom stickers that say board affiliate.

or if u guys wanna get fancy u can purchase the euro indiglo lights wehre u can make your own design and have it save maxima .org the concept of having an unspoken symbol does sound real clever imo.. but like many others i'm not all that willing on sticking stuff on my car, i prefer the clean stockish look.

No handsigns, cause if the person wasn't part of the org I'd feel like a dumbas5 and no Nismo stripes cause it's not my style.

Maxima.org license plate frames are coming as part of the Maxima.org merchandise that we'll be producing in the coming couple of months. We'll have an online store for Maxima.org apparel as well.

I've been talking with Nissan about getting licensed for their new "Maxima" branded merchandise so that we can offer those products too. We're working on the licensing issues at the moment.

Stay tuned.

License Plate frames are a good idea. Subtle. I need a frame anyway and have been debating what kind to get. Now I will have to wait to see what the Org ones look like.

I am completely up for license plate frames as well. That, I will do. Stickers and lights are no-no's.

To start, my girlfriend won't let me put stripes on my car. She says it's cheezy. I'll take her word for it. Second, the maxima.org stickers suck. Sorry...but really...can you pick a cooler font or something? I don't need to advertise that I'm a computer geek. Now, if someone would come up with a cool name and icon like the cattman one I'm looking at right now, I'd be in. Like... USMAX or MAXUS or something like that...with a cool font and some graphics. Just make an organization and name it something cool.

I fully agree. Even if I were to put a sticker on my car, there is no way that there will be a .com, .org, or ANYTHING computer related....

If the stripes and NISMO logo are the same design as in your sig then I'ed do it, it would look nice on a white car!.
Also Frames and T-shirts sound cool!

I personally think the stipes on the hood would look beautiful on my black max. It doesn't have to be as big as the ones on the skyline. Hell, the stripes don't have to be on the hood or the side. I was just thinking about a way to display the NISMO colors on our Maxs'.

Maybe I need to take a second look and picture it on my car. I may change my mind.

If you guys don't have a .org sticker on your car then do you have a nice Kenwood sticker or some stereo equipment istead? It helps with advertising what's in your car for thieves!
