The ULTIMATE Suspension mod

WHat is it you might ask? Is it a RSB? FSTB? Springs? NOPE! Just got the torsion bar/lower control arm recall done to my 2k2 max and DAMN what a difference! Anyone with a 2k2 should SERIOUSLY get it done... hell... its FREE... and cornering and some body roll is much improved.

here was my post. after a few more dozen miles of driving today i took it for one final test... a strip of potholes (okay, it's a road but i swear that road looks more like potholes than anything) which i used to go over a lot.

well, all i can say is - wow! i'm not the one to exagerrate but this fix really does make the car feel a bit more solid.

maybe i'm just not sensitive to this kind of stuff. i have had the recall work done, i have a FSTB, RSB, and H&R springs and i can't really say for sure whether i feel a difference between now and when i didnt have all of these things. i guess its just hard for me to notice for some reason.

Since people are reporting better performance after the recall has been done, just wondering, should the 2k2's that needed the recall be running on par with the 2k2's that did not need it, or are they now running better because of improved parts?

I would say it's because you're no longer 100% stock. It's like putting the RSB on after having springs installed. The effects just aren't as pronounced anymore.

that would be a valid reason for while i dont feel the effects of the recall work. but when i said that i was talking about my car's handling now in general compared to my car's handling when it was stock. i feel like i cant tell a difference between now and when it was stock
