Finally pics of my clear 2k2 headlights!

Here are some pictures of my recently done cleared out 2k2 headlights. The first headlight I did took me a total of 6 hours but the second one took me only 2 hours since I knew what to expect. I have absolutely no comdensation in any other the headlights and I get a lot of looks by other 5th gen owners from it.

I recommend this mod to anyone with enough guts and time on there hands. All you need is a heat gun, a couple of hours, clear cocking, and some clear coat to seal the gap between the housing and the lense. Thanks MiniRX7 for taking the pics! Enjoy

Damn that's really nice. I think a while ago there was a guy selling plexiglass pieces to replace the orange lense. But i dunno what came of it. Goodjob tho.

Thanks guys for all the compliments. I actually had the rear clear corners installed like 2 weeks ago but I haven't taken any pitures of them. I will take some pics at night so you guys can see how the Polarg bulbs look with the HID's.

I actually prefer the bare bulb look instead of the foggy lense. There was a guy selling them for like $8 but I decided to go without it. Right now I have white turning signals but will change them to amber when I can find the bulbs. Apparently they don't make this particular turning signal bulb in amber.

Costco, Ed must have missed it cause he's the one that blurred out my license plate. As for the rear clear I had them installed for the past 2 weeks but these pics don't show it.

I agree that it would look even better with the clear lens thing. But it still looks tight! Way better than the d*mn amber lens!

Kloogy, if you get some time you should try this mod too. I'll look sick on your car since you have such nice rims

Flashing white for now but I'm shopping around for amber replacement bulbs which I can't seem to find.

if you put amber bulbs you'll still see the amber through the lens. heh, thats the "problem" for us 2k,2k1 owners. there are some silver bulbs out there that flash amber but im having trouble finding them. the bulbs are silverish in color so in the day they blend into the car and they illuminate amber so at night youre not breaking any laws!

They look awesome.

Those cleared out lights look tight as hell. Now if only we could get someone to find some angle eyes and see how those look on our cars. I want them really bad.....

Well he lives around the Markham area or something and I see his ride very often. I would be willing to re-open my headlights to install those angle eyes if the price was right.

Well did he do it himself or did a shop do it??

If he did it himself, we just need a good write up!

Nathan, i shaved the *** of my car today, it looks so much cleaner!

Ed, posts some pics up of your @ss!

I think Bob got the angle eyes done at a shop but i'm not 100% sure. Personally I would use that money for either performance or stereo mods since it doesn't really serve a purpose other than looks.

I'd love to see these pictures, but the links do not work. I have already tried pasting the links into another browser with no luck.
