19 X 8 1/2. I drove it all day Sat, Sunday was the So Cal Meet, and I drove around all day today. I have yet to rub. Ive pushed pretty hard on turns. I had 3 people in it today for a little while, and no problems. I just take it real easy over buumps. Im running 245/35's Nitto's . I have compared the Nitto's to other tires in the same size, and the Nitto's seem to have more meat on them .....Hope this helps..

i'm trying to decide on gettin some rims but if i get 18s i may regret it later.
im already on maxspeeds and i have the ninja kit so how careful am i gonna have to be riding on 19's?

I dont have a kit. But after logging about 200 miles already, I will swear to you that its not as bad as I was told to expect. You will feel the road SO MUCH MORE ! That is a good thing ! If I wouldve known I would love this setup so much, I would've never thought twice about it ! I welcome anyone to ride with me in the car in So Cal, so you can attest to this. I just tried the g-tech that Maximadave lent me. It gave me a 14.8 . Thats the same as I got at the track. Let's say its .1-.2 off, thats not that much of a power loss. The handling gains, make it worth it !

hey kloogy...im thinking of gettin a set of 19's and the casings in the package are 235/35r19's. would you recommend that i try to step up to a 245... ive checked a couple of sites and they recommend a 235/35 for our cars...im not really sure bout these things.
im sure you posted this info before, but what is the offset of your rims? and do they stick out more than the stocks?
thanks in advance

My wheels flush nicely. It depends what width the wheels are. If they are 8 1/2 like mine, 245 is a must. If they are 8 inches, you can still do it, any less of a width, stick with 235's...

I have 18's and the ride is noticably rougher than with the stock 16's. I can only imagine how the ride is with 19's.

If youre going from 16's to 18's..yeah there's a big difference. But going from 17's to 18's wont be anywhere as bad. Going to 19's in my opinion, dont feel any worse than cars with 18's Ive driven in. You feel the road so much better than on 17's..Its night and day.

let's see...i went from my stock 15s to 17s..now that was a major change in how the car ride changed...from 17s to my 18s..well, it was little bit rougher, but just about the same...from my 18s to my 19s..it's just as bad as from my 17s to 18s...whoa..i'm confusing myself here. hehe

Thats the point Irvine...from 18 to 198's there isnt much of a difference.... so you might as well go 19's !

Youd better get the weight. I looked at some Lowenharts that weighed 50 lbs ! Just the wheels. My wheels and tires weigh about 54 lbs...I am considering chroming my Mille's but maybe in a year or so, after my NOS...

19x8.5 on 235/35-19 rims+tires weigh 42 lbs not bad for 3 piece rims!

tire size is fine not too narrow there is no crowning out or anything

I DO worry about rubbing when I put the rims back on with new 245/35-19s because I also will have to run 5mm spacers to clear my big brakes but I havent tested it out for sure yet so I am not sure it will rub

and the ride? only a little bit harsher than my 18"s but honestly 19"s arent really the best choice for the track or strip... only cruising

and bending a rim isnt such an unknown occurrence... keep that in mind start mapping out your areas big potholes

i was thinkin on gettin 19 inch zenetti mystics wrapped in 235/35R19... the rims have a lip and i heard that makes it easier to bend the rim.
im on maxspeeds with a ninja kit so im pretty careful as it is... so how much worse is it gonna get with the 19's?
im tryin to decide on 18s or 19s... and im thinkin once i get the 18s and run them for a while ill regret passin on the 19s...

hmmm I see what you mean about having the lip yea it probably does, my 19"s have a 2 inch lip I havent bent them yet but honestly I havent driven too much with them and I drive very carefully

and about whether if you go 18"s you will miss going 19"s? mmmm thats a point but I have both and I'm happy with the 18"s for the most part, the design makes them look big enough (Momo Sport) people comment on them being nice this and that...

now with the 19"s... its goofier people walk by stare and say dayum its pretty stupid and annoying- I'm not the type that digs that kind of attention and yah people just look at my rims and shiet... no i dont get girls offering wild animal sex because I have 19"s (they do that for other reasons ) but yea they do turn more heads...

make sure the spoke design you choose makes the rims LOOK like 19"s

I agree with most of what you said. I still would go with 19's no matter what.

Irvine, I said I would Chrome , possibly after NOS ! ..

yes I am afflicted with the same disease sometimes my 19"s dont look like 19"s and my 18"s like 17"s and and... yea its pretty bad

but 19" is the limit to where you can say your car is performance orientated... and lightweight 20"s are... expensive...

18"s good enough for me MOST of the time but then again having 18"s I can always say "oh yah well... these are my beater rims... yah got set of 19"s yah"

18-19 up to you check out the rides on the org see if ya wana step up to 19"s 18"s with the right design like kloogy's 19"s already look big

(I rolled around on my 15"s steelies for a day well the fronts were still 18s-friggin brakes... and damn my 18"s looked like 19"s next to the 15"s!)

dude dadadayum! haha those would look sweet!! and big-

about rims looking bigger, kloogy's rims look massive because the spokes are thin and they go all the way out to the lip, the lip on that wont really make it ook that much smaller hehe people might mistake them for 18"s! but not 17"s!

Velox rims some of them look extra small because the lip isnt just like on inch wide its one inch tall... makes 18"s look like 17"s pretty badly the lip on that isnt bad deep dish is cool

those are pretty bling bling! go for it!

Those rims look nice, but heavy ! If you're considering 19's they will weigh you down. You might as well go with 20's ! Those 19's must weigh about 30+ lbs each. I would just go all out with the 20's . Remember. If you're gonna do it, do it right the first time !

I think your comment leans towards DUBS being "ghetto"... HUM. I know I am talking to the wrong person, because I know you are from SoCal. You know how many " ANGLOS" and yuppies roll on dubs. Every Benz, Jag, 7 series BMW, and 95 % of Escalades and Navi's in So Cal roll on DUBS . That why Lowenhart makes so much $$ . Now, saying that, there are many GHETTO wheel brands that are a POS, that make crappy a$$ wheels that come in 20's. These will remain nameless, so that we dont offend anyone . You just cant say that DUBS === Ghetto. If thats the case, half the people at the Golf courses I visit, are hood rats ! .... Being you're from Cali, carnal,, I know you get my point !

mmmm dubs being ghetto? yea haha thats partly the truth in my opinion- with Japanese Blitz 19"s rims I like who I get the attention from more, people are like damN! people who know the old school Japanese rims, racers and people who put more emphasis on performance give me props but they are still bling bling enough to get looks from other people...
i duno if I had dubs I think I would be relegated to the bling bling crowd haha the 19"s get the attention from the people I want to get attention from

but thats so true... every rich soccer mom be habbin dubs or dubs+2 on the Escalade with limo tint... every rich daddy got dubs on the Benz S500... on the Lexus .. yea man its living cali ghetto fantabulous hahaha

HAHA baller Blitz go hard in the paint I feel the same way about the ghetto fab wheels. Some wheels are just not ment to be put on our cars and some people just have there own sense of style that I can never comprehend. Me personally would take a set of 19 Advan Sienna or 19 Blitz technospeed over some ghetto wheels. The people I hang out with would never stop laughing if I rolled up with 20" Arelli wheels on my Maxima.

I want to see pictures ! I dont care what other people think. Most people , as well as LEMMINGS on the ORG flame your mods, because they cant afford them. I get what I want, because I want it. Im dying to see pics of your DUBS. When I go play golf Sunday Morning at the Rancho Bernardo Country Club, if anyone laughs at my 19's, as I pull to the Bag Drop area , I will be sure to let you know !

The people I hang out with would never stop laughing if I rolled up with 20" Arelli wheels on my Maxima.
I agree, some people put on 20" on cars that are stock just to say (I got DUBS!)But the car realy looks like a clown car at a circus.
The only way 20" or bigger would look good,is if the wheels don't make the car look small.BLING!,BLING! is nice BUT BLING! BLING! with performance in a wheel is awesome.

I think the only 20"s I'd go with would be like HREs or some Japanese lightweight dub... but unless you go even lower profile rubber you throw off a lot of shiet... your drop will look like less of a drop, speedo will be off, you'll need a loan from the bank everytime you need new tires (every 4 monthes!!)

with my car's image 19" is the biggest I can go, if I chose another image and style for my car I could put dubs on and feel no shame...

hehe Apexi A Pillar guages and dubs dont match man!
