I thought I was the only one who didn't like it after reading all these posts:P

The wing isn't "rice." It looks like the stock wing just a little different. I don't see anything wrong with the wing, except the fact that he already has a spoiler on his car.

 

the wing looks a lot like the wings you see on all the tricked out Neons. Any spoiler, even the stock one, looks awkward on the max... the max is a well-designed car that is smooth and flowing without any spoilers. spoilers do just that, spoil the clean lines of a car. I'm begging keving to not put that spoiler on, because then he will have ruined the clean, smooth, almost sleeper look of one of the org's best known and most powerful cars. but then, this is my opinion and to most people it seems to count for a lot less than two cents... Whatever you do, have fun and enjoy your cars...

 

I do agree that most of the wings that people put on their cars shouldn't be there in the 1st place, but it is their car and they can do what they wish. Even if you just want to ask them "what were you thinking of when you decided to get that wing?"

Kevin's car already has a stock spoiler on it. You can beg Kevin as much as you want, but it won't work. I already had a fit with him when he bought the wing. As you can see...he won.

 

i dont know why people like that spoiler. if kevin's gonna put that on his car i'm going to have to choose a different maxima to be my favorite on the .org!

 

I know, begging him not to is the futile gesture you just have to make... like a guy hanging off a cliff who grabs for the only thing he can see, a blade of grass... but, you guys both have amazing cars, and are an inspiration to the majority of the org, and i hope i have not offended in any way, shape or form.

 

If you feel that way, then there's nothing we can do about it. If putting a wing on a car affects people this much..that's too bad. It's only a car. Putting the wing on the car won't change it any. It really looks almost like the stock SE wing. Except for ridges on the sides.

One more thing...people have different personalities, likes and dislikes. Not everyone will like the same thing. This is what makes us all unique.


Don't worry about offending me. You were just stating your opinion. You never know how long he'll keep the wing on the car. He might have it test fitted and decide he doesn't like it.

the reason why im getting it is b/c its different and i hate the stock spoiler, and no spoiler is even worse. now my *** wont look like all the other maximas in my town.

the only thing i hate about it is the fact that it sticks out way too far from the trunk lid when you look at it from the side. I'll have to have it mounted further in.

too bad ordering it is a serious pain in the ***, took almost an hour

 

ordered mine this moring, took my sales 20 min to find the part, another 10 min for the transaction from their main office to the local store.

i was just saying that out of all the 5th gen's on the .org... i wanted mine to look like his. that is not the case anymore. im not clowning on his tastes... up to this point, i thought they were very similar.

There was a thread awhile ago with the part number, talking about this APC wing!

IMO every car looks better with a spoiler, it just has to be the right one for the car. I do mean every car, from hatchbacks to luxury sedans.

I think they're out of stock now, but if they make more, Deac, Irvine78, and others with the Stillen front touring lip should look into adding this wing.
