5th-Gen Mirror Bras (pics)

I just ordered a set of these from autoanything.com, and thought you guys might be interested.

I posted some pics on my site - http://www.greghome.com

Very useful in keeping the bug grime off your side mirrors, and an interesting cosmetic mod too.

I dont know, looks ghetto, but that is my opinion. If you like them, more power to you.

oh look at that cleavage....they're so round and.. oh baby
I don't think they look "ghetto" only because I saw a 2002 yellow Porsche 911 TT drive past with them, so they're OK in my book(but not OK on my car).

personally i think they look like ****, and would not bring them within 10 feet of my car, but i don't mean to flame, if you like them, by all means.

Hi all and thanks for the comments. I got them mainly for functional purposes (the bugs were driving me nuts) and I think they look better on a black car than probably any other color because they blend in better.

That "shine" on my car is simply the results of keeping it garaged and only having 3500 miles on it. I never waxed the max yet - that is the factory shine. That's my secret! Sorry to burst anyone's bubble...

So is it easier to clean the bug guts off the vinyl than it is off the mirrors themselves?

Yes, it's much easier to clean the vinyl. Nothing sticks to it.

Mirror bras, ghetto? Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I haven't seen too many of these things in my local ghetto. Now, lowering springs, chrome wheels, and huge double-tipped exhausts - *that's* ghetto.

yeah, no doubt that the covers would look better on a black car than any other color, and as for the difference between cleaning the covers as opposed to the car itself, big difference. If you got them for functional purposes, good choice .

and that's one HELL of a comeback!

regarding the "bra", it makes me think.. "well, at that point, what about an entire HOOD BRA?" or and entire car wrap? (i know it's getting out of hand, but just had to say it!

Kinda like the clearbra... But I think those vinyl mirror bras are ugly.

If that the way he feels, and he doesnt have the original factory equipment in his shorts to use my name in his post, thats ok. I dont really see how putting a shower cap on my mirrors would do any good. I can afford to have a guy come detail my car once a week, and I myself go through it , at least 4 times a week. But, from the way the rest of our fellow members have rated it. I feel no sweat off my back from his comments. ..Me and my GHETTTO 19's !
