new tires!!!..what size?

if i got 215/45/17 on my stock AE rims...would that by bad?..would it mess up my speedometer up a lot?....

Why go more narrow? Wider is better. On the 17 x 7 you could go with a 235/50 R17, not the 235/45 R17 that is not recommended by the tire manufacturer.
