I have a digital camera and want to post pics of my car. Can anyone tell me how to go about doing so?

 

The stock answer around here is to use "Search" or read the FAQ. But here's a couple of tips: You first have to load your pictures onto a website somewhere. If your Internet provider gives you webspace for a homepage, that'll do. Find out from them how to do that.

Then, once loaded onto the Internet somewhere else, you simply use the IMG function here to link to it. There's a button at the top of the "Reply" or "Post" form. Hit that once, type in the URL of your picture (or use the copy and paste function, and hit the IMG button again. You'll see that the URL goes in between two commands, one to tell the forum that an image URL is coming next, and one to tell it that it's over. Like this:

[ img ] http: // www.myurl.com/image.jpg [ /img ]

I've inserted blank spaces into the above, so that it won't try to make an image now, but the real thing won't have any spaces.

Once you get a satisfactory picture, you can insert it into your signature, like I just did.
