Seat Swap - G35 into Maxima

Okay, all you crazy "figure-$hit-out" guys and gals out there, I'm hoping somebody has the inclination to figure this one out. Can I purchase the front seats from the G35 and put them into my Max? They have the same perforated leather as my AE and, having test drove the G35, are 100% more comfortable. The one thing I yearned for stepping out of that G35 and sitting back in my Maxima to drive home was that driver's seat.

Well, there you go...it's out there. First person to figure it out gets a cookie. I'm thinking the power adaptors for the seat heaters and adjustment buttons are the same since it would just make good sense from an assembly line/design perspective. Since I have both passenger and driver power and heated seats, I figure I'm a good candidate.

Anybody, anybody....Bueller, Bueller?

How much would the G35 seats cost? This would be nice if the swap was purely plug n play.

Why would you want your power seat controls near the center console, bad design if you ask me.

It is all about the comfort...go drive the sucker and you'll know right away what I mean.

My thought was that the G35 seats were more likely to have identical power adaptors for the heated seats and the power seats. Also, the same colored leather and perforated leather to match the AE seats I've got in the back. That is the primary reason I was thinking about it.

Get some measurments for the seat tracks and then measure yours. If they match up grat, if there a little off you can probably modify them. Give it a little time and grab some seats cheap from a junk yard and give it a shot. BTW this same thought had crossed my mined
