This is a Nismo Carbon Fiber thing that you stick on your fuel door. Would it be too ricey on a Max?

Wait, why would this be rice? Nismo makes part for nissans, so why would that be rice? Everything is rice on this board now-a-days.. Its ugly, but I wouldnt call it rice.

"is this Ricer?" ok no matter what you do to the Maxima it can never be rice because it's fast, now if it was slow then all the Civics could say "haha look at that slow p.o.s Maxima with it's nismo badges, haha what a poser" But your car is a hell of a lot faster than a honda civic so they keep their feet in their mouthes.
and hey just think of it this way, I'm sure nismo may have shared some performance information with the designers at Nissan Japan!

Yeah, you're okay in my book. Hey, by the way FedEx still hasn't paid for that wheel. They told Brian that it had "insufficient packaging".

The damn wheel was hit so hard that it tore through a piece of foam and TWO layers of cardboard. Insufficient pakaging my a$$....... Insufficient FedEx employee more like it.

I think he sent it back to them again, but it's been over a month now......

Well, the idiot had a good post at first then ruined it. If you think it compliments your car... by all means. DO IT! Just be prepared to be flamed for it.

Basically, anything you have doubts about doing... it's probably going to be insulted and laughed at. But, if you life it... that's all that really matters.

But, since you asked our opinions. Don't do it. That's something kids in Sentras and Stanzas add to their cars. But, if you have quite a bit of work done by Nismo... and your car can back up any taunting that is to surely arise from that layover...do it!

OT but man, those 19's are hot on your Max with the coilovers and kit...

What brand / style are they? Do they come in 18" for Max? Finally when did you get 'em, I remember seeing pics of your ride a few weeks ago and they weren't on there...

 

I enjoyed reading your guys' posts. Yes, I did ask for your honest opinions, so it's all good. I don't play on getting it myself, especially now! I would like to get a real motorcycle fuel door, but that would take some bodywork though. This little thing is real carbon fiber, but just attaches with 3M tape, kinda like those flat wood dash kits.

i personally wouldnt get it. i saw a civic with some sticker on the fuel door, so i decided to take a pic since that and his type-R sticker made me crack up. it just looks cheezy and cheap.

 

first off, who cares what others think - if you want the sticker on your fuel door, then put the sticker on the fuel door. But hey, you're the one that's posting the question on the board - which means, you do want to know what others think - and yes, it is quite ugly..

2) It looks okay, but I don't really dig those kinds of mods that are just for cosmetics perse. I DO have a stillen front lip though

When I see those kinds of knick knacky things on cars, I generally just chuckle. But I guess w/ a new car, it's hard to find things to mod the car to make it different than the other stock cars(w/o spending major cash)

I disagree. My new Courtesy FSTB is comin in today, and I just ordered the RSB today too! Once that comes in, it's clears and lighting. Then once my plates come in, it's time for tint!

But thanks for the opinions...I think you could maybe pull of that sticker on a black or grey lustre car, but it would stand out way too much on my glacier pearl.
