does your 6 speed clutch vibrate/pulsate?

Ok, I took my car to the dealer and they told me this was "normal" and that the car is not meant to ever be shifted over 3000 rpms (why is the redline 6500 then???), however I don't think it did it before I had my transmission replaced.

If I am shifting at 3500+ rpms I will feel the clutch vibrate/pulstate. It will do it the entire time I am pushing it in, including when it is all the way to the floor. when the revs drop, it does away, and the higher the revs the harder the vibration.

Does this happen to anyone else? Does anyone know what I might be? I am so ****ed off at the dealer right now, they kept my car for a day just to tell me that "you shouldn't shift that high"

ugh.

vibrating
Crusader,

I just got my car about a week ago and I am feeling the same thing. Since I am new to a manual tranny, I am not sure either if this is supposed to happen or not. Anyone else???

I haven't felt anything like that in mine. I have had it about 4 weeks now. My clutch has been completely smooth. I did read a post somewhere that there is a fuel cut problem at low RPM's that causes bucking.

Hmm...I wonder now. I am waiting a few weeks to bring it down, because my work schedule is hectic, but if anyone has or is going to bring their car in for this, let me know, I'd be interested to know what they say. Anyone familiar with what might cause this kind of vibration?
