Where to get a nice License Plate Kit

I just picked up my '03 TE 6-speed last week and I desperately want to take off those crappy plastic license plate frames the dealer gave me. Where can I get a nice looking kit for my new car? I want something with a nice fit and finish and not too flashy. Something that includes screws would be nice too. Those cheapies couldn't even supply me with 8 screws to fill out the plates. Any and all ideas are appreciated.

Thank You.

When I bought my 2k2 SE I got a real nice chrome finished frames that they sell at the dealership. I bought one for the front and one for the back. The front one says "MAXIMA" on the bottom. They really compliment all the crome badges around the car nicely!! I dont remember if they come with screws but they do come with these real nice chrome caps that go over the screws, the frames are top notch. Im not sure how much they cost but do remember they were pretty expensive for license plate frames, but they were well worth it for the shear looks alone though. (I think they were like in the $20 range a piece!).

I got a chrome "NISMO" plate from E-Bay. It looks nice but *DON'T BUY IT*, after just a couple of months it's starting to rust.

Thanks for the info. I am definietly looking for something that will not rust. As I live in Chicago, the salt is going to be rather harsh...

mine is heavy guage stainless very thick and almost unbendable. it came with special screws and little wrench to screw them in with so makes it harder for people to steal. check my homepage for a couple pics.

I bought one of those chrome "MAXIMA" license plate holders back a few years ago when I still had my 1989 Max. That model had the license plate hanging low off of the back, and other holders constantly got bent or broken in car washes. The chrome one at the dealer withstood the test of time. I've since transferred it to the 2000 SE and just this year to my 2002 SE. It still looks as good as new. As mentioned earlier, it's a bit pricey -- $25 - $30, but well worth it. And it looks sharp on my Tungsten Blue Max.

Indiglo

If you like the indiglo look, or just want to see how the indiglo license plate covers look like. Just head on over to www.midnightmoose.com and check it out. (I should be a salesman or something) By the way, I am not affiliated with them. Seriously though, It's a metal frame and the "Nissan" glows when you turn on your lights.
