19" Rim Dilemna Please Help

Hello everyone, i have a 2K2 Super Black SE. I want to buy 19 inch rims with tires for around $1500 or so. Is this possible? I prefer chrome but i think that is probably impossible at that price. I prefer 5 star style rims although i am willing to diverse from it if something strikes my fancy. I actually really like "Kloogy's" Mille Evo's. I live in the New York area. Please supply me with some links or suggestions of what I should get. Any and all suggestions would be aprreciated. Thanks so much.

No offense, but no way in hell you getting 19s with tires and chrome. You MIGHT and stress MIGHT be able to get 19s with tires that are not chrome. But I gotta feeling they are going to be no name and probably worthless. Kloogy's cost over $2600. I know wheelmax.com has a couple cheap sets, but the BINNO ones are not compatible bolt patterns for a Maxima.

BigDog, you said that kloogy's rims cost over $2600 but i was able to find the rims alone for $299 each http://www.tirerack.com/upgrade_gara...&autoYear=2002 The Tires for these rims could probably be bought for under $200 each which would put these rims and tires under $1999. Is this possible or am i mistaken? Is this a good deal?

You right, maybe tirerack put it onsale. But Kloogy got Nitto tires and they run about 200 each. So you right on the money on it being $2000.

I will ask klooger.

Tire Rack has lowered tge price a bit. They were 340 per wheel a few weeks ago. My tires are going to run you 200-235 per tire. You must add mounting. balancing. Shipping, if you are buying from Tire Rack, and TAX will hit you hard. You can save money buy getting Khumos, they are about 50 bucks less per tire. For 1500, your not going to get anything in 19's thats worth putting on a Max. If you want my wheels in Chrome, add about 120 more per wheel. Just remember , you get what you pay for !

Thanks for the info kloogy. i like your rims alot. it's so hard to decide on rims these days. The only reason that im in the market for rims right now is because i was offered $800 for my stock 2K2 rims and tires. I thought i could use that money and buy some nice rims. BTW, Tirerack does charge sales tax and it would only be like $40 to ship them ground. Are BF Goodrich tires good?

Re: 19" Rim Dilemna Please Help

These are my 19's. They are 15 lbs, were less than 300 a wheel, and I love them. Can't beat that.

Too bad their honduh wheels and really narrow. What size tires do you have on them?

They are Centerline RPM's. Almost any tire shop can order them.
I got mine at Les Schwab. Tires are 235/35/19.

Too bad your rim is too narrow for the tire size. The minimum width for a 235/35 tire is 8.0". 8.5" is suggested.

They are 19 X 7.5 the 235 tires work perfect.

I am getting 19's too, but wasn't planning on it for awhile. But with the going price of my brand new stock 2K2 SE rims/tires, it's tempting. I plan to spend about $2000-$2500 for my rims, possibly more if I want some really good tires though.

Those wheels look nice, but were made for Hondas. If you are rolling on a 19" will want a foot print of at least 8 inches on there. Otherwise its like a bicycle wheel. A 235 does not belong on that size wheel.
