Yep. Brian just posted yesterday saying the bars just arrived and that they'll be filling in all back-ordered orders.

Although I have not got my car yet, I'm going to order one tomorrow.
Just read through some threads and seemed that this one is a must!
Is FSTB also a must?

Thanks.

understood! Thanks soundmike
I just placed my order on RSB this morning and asked about the FSTB. They don't have that one in stock anyway.
That's very interesting for me, I haven't gotten my car and already have a mod part...

Just wondering how come Nissan didn't make it as a standard if it makes maxima handle so much better and only cost them a little compare to other performance part. They can also benefit from the better performance(handling) of this car and boost up their sales.
just my 2cents..

Well, either way, it would still cost them money. Say the FSTB would cost them $15 to manufacture, multiply by say 500,000 cars. That's a lotta moolah

Hopefully they do something about it in the future, especially now that they're out of the red.

Based on Cattman's latest post, this might very well be the last time. It seems Addco will be increasing their prices shortly.

...I got in on this $115 deal early, I have had mine installed for a couple of weeks now, and I had H&R's on already before RSB. It does make a difference, I have a very tight neutral cornering behavior now. I love it. I have a buddy at work that has a 2001 325cI w/ sport package and I can hang w/ him in the corners now...

I ordered my Addco RSB from Cattman on Monday, it was backordered. They came in for him on Tuesday, and I received it yesterday, Friday. So tomorrow, Sunday, I'm installing my FSTB and RSB. My absolutely first 2 mods in the 3 weeks I've owned the car.

I just installed my RSB today after painting it white. I'm pretty happy with it. I think I'm gonna wait for Cattman's FSTB, cuz some people ive talked to who have seen it say it looks and works great, plus its really light...I'm pretty happy with RSB though. I think I need to tighten it a little more though. Good luck with yours!!

Yay! The magikal delivery man just brought mine today! So happy. so pretty. I'll prolly be going to buy jack stands tomorrow so i can put it on. Question: should i use jack stands or those car ramps? and which would be better as a long term purchase, and remember, i'm a broke college kid...

For the RSB car ramps should be used, cuz I guess the suspensions isnt supposed to be hanging as it would with jacks and stands. I personally use the ramps over jacks any day. As long as it is front end or back end work not dealing with the wheels, I would buy ramps, but thats just my opinion.

i just order the RSB and an FSTB today. Im going to start on the handling of the max first, seems very soft compared to my heavily modded SE-Rs suspension! WHat are your guys thoughts on the FSTB and the rear bar? is the car no leaning as much?

I thought the $115 RSB deal comes standard with ADDCO’s “optional” urethane bushings. This doesn't look like urethane.

Maybe I am wrong. If someone received something different, please post pics of it. I might be making a call to Cattman soon.

Based on descriptions of the Rubber and Urethane bushings the one you have looks like it's is Urethane. Same as mine. As Cattman mentioned some of them come in red, others in black.

On the subject of ramps vs. jack stands. I got mine at KMart on sale (2 heavy duty "yellow" ramps) for $15+tax. Can carry up to 4800(?)lbs.

that's what i got too.....

unless these are just black urethane...

i think the red ones look cooler but these seem to blend in with the beam of the max...

I didn't know that urethane was hard like plastic. Urethane is a soft rubbery material. Did anybody get the red ones and if so are they soft or hard?

Well, here's one thing i noticed on the black bushings that i got. Check the inner portion of where the tube would go. Notice that it feels different than the rest of the bushing.

Mine looked just like that too. They were pretty hard, almost like plastic. I do know that the urethane bushings come in both red and black. I asked Cattman about it, and he assured me that they're urethane. Anybody know differently for sure? By the way, I used jackstands, and it went fine.

I checked up the installation instruction, if we need to take off the wheels, how can I use ramp? Am I missing something?

Thanks!

Sorry, What I meant was for this, I wouldnt use stands and you dont have to take the wheels off. Ramps are faster and easier to use in my opinion

Just remember, if you do it right you won't have to take off or loosen anything. Wheels? Nope. Brake lines? Nope.

It's a very "bolt-on" procedure.

I got my Addco RSB over a year ago. My bushings are red, urethane, and are very hard as well. If it were mushy then it wouldn't offer much support.

If i was gonna do it again, i'd move the brake lines, it probably would have cut install time by 20 minutes. getting those C bracketsaround the trailing arm, under the brake line, and into the holes of the sway bar brackets took some work and thinking...

But still, took me about an hour and that was the first time i've done anything underneath a car. Real simple!

There was really only one bolt that you had to unscrew to get the bracket between the line and the body. At least that was all i had to unscrew and it worked good.

It took me less than 30 minutes to do it. I just secured the trailing arm portions of the bar first before attaching the rear beam portion.

Definitely shaved off a lot of time (and frustration) if did the other way around.

Yup, definitely take Soundmike's advice on this one. I did, and it made the installation go so much easier. I didn't have to remove ANYTHING. I just bolted up the trailing arms lightly, then bolted it up to the axle. Then adjusted everything and tightened it up. With help from a couple other guys, took about 45min. including a couple smoke breaks.
