b-pipe no res to stock muffler

If I put on an aftermarket intake - y-pipe - free flow cat - and get a custom pipe with no resonator from the cat to the stock muffler (AE muff). How loud will the stock muffler become? Will it be a deep tone? Or if I go with a Cattman b-pipe with res how will the stock muffler sound? Any other b-pipes available for a 2001 AE max?

I have a Cattman y-pipe, stock cat, wsp mandreal bent b-pipe w/o resonator into a stock 2001 SE muffler. I just installed the b-pipe last weekend. It sounds pretty good. At the first start-up the idle was a little deeper in tone, a little louder. On the throttle it gets quite a bit louder, with the slightest little zingny sp? note to it. In the cabin noise has increased a bit, but it complements my intake, so I really like it. I am wonding if I should just complete the exhaust with a high flow cat and muffler. Who knows. But I enjoy the sound. It almost sounds like the blue max from the fast and the furious, almost. Wrapping the whole exhaust with exhaust wrap would quiet it down a bit if one found it too loud, it may deepen the tone also. I'll try that later. Good luck.

How much did you pay for your wsp b-pipe? What is it made from? Was it an easy bolt on to the cat and stock muffler piece?

Take a look at my sig.

I LOVE my exhaust setup. It doesn't drone and it sounds wicked as hell at WOT.
