1. I have a 2k gle and am thinking about putting on 17" rims when the tires need changing, How do the bigger rims affect the speedometer accuracy?
2. I will want to sell my 16" rims, what other vehicles will these rims fit on?
3. What is the easiest way to get to the lightbulbs in the front and rear sidemarkers?

Thanks for the help

1. SEARCH
2. just put them for sale and let the purchaser worry about if it fits or not on whatever they drive....unless you want to get into each and every car, what the lug pattern is, what the offset is, etc.

1. It won't. You will need to buy the appropriate 17" tire, which is a 225 50 17.
2. 5 x 114.3. They say Nissan though, so you will have to sell them to someone with a Maxima. They won't fit any older Altimas or Sentras. And not too many people are in the market for 16"s, although you might be surprised.
3. Check out the FAQ thread at the top of this forum. Basically sick a screwdriver in there with a towel to pad it a bit from scratching the paint and pop it off. Nothing too tricky.

1.) depending on where you go, most tire places will tell you what tires can go on the rim (size, width choices, load capacity); this should come out to a tire that will be compatible w/ the car and rim size, so you don't need to worry about that-just make sure the place is reputable and knowledgable.

2.) first thing i'd try is to sell them to maxima owners (as mentioned above, it says 'nissan' on the rims). if not, then again, as mentioned above, let the buyer worry about it. if they as, tell them what car it's from and that's all u know.

3.) the instructions on removing the side markers are in the owners manual (as are described by asu174), but i found it quite uncomforting to do (i even CHIPPED THE STOCK rear when i was removing it..not to mention the small (quite unnoticable) dents in the body when i applied the pressure from the screwdriver). it did come out though. best choice would be to get from INSIDE the bumper. you'd have to lift the car up on jack stands and take out the plastic guards on the bottom of the car (if i had to do it again, that's how i would do it).
