these are going to be my wheels

remember I told you guys that I will keep my stock wheels untils the tires need to be replaced? well, I was wrong.

remember I told you guys that my recent suspension mod will make me happy till the end of the year? well, I was wrong

I still remembered after I did my shocks/spring, my gf told me that soon I will spend some big money on something else. SHE WAS DAMN RIGHT!!!!!

Those are OZ superleggeras. I am going to get the 18s...but the 17 has a nice weight of 15.4lb and the grand total is 2.1k with tires from tirerack. OUCH!

Are there many people here have them? Friend of mine recently bought 17" for his WRX and had nothing but troubles trying to get rid of high speed vibration. We've been to many places and he even sent two of them for trueing but they still vibrate. Tires are Bridgestone SP03 205X45 R17 if I recall correctly.

my 2c, Mike.

The light weight of the wheel lends itself to vibration problems. I dont like them , unless they are 19's. I have seen many Audis with these inh 19's and they look awesome. Otherwise , they just look another WRX wheel...

The weight factor is very appealing, so I don't blame you guy! They look good on the max like the project maxima in SCC.

ive never and i mean never had a vibration prob.with mine. Your freind better check the quality of tires he put on those rims then. More than likely its the heavy spot on the tire causing the vibration. Get him to put his wheels on a road force measuring machine.

hmmm...the factory 16 weights about 17lb if I remembered right...I dont want to running on something really heavy when I increase the size.

maybe just people's taste...I think it is just me and few others like these wheels.

Yes they are light...

But that style is very, ummmmm, mid 1990's.
I had the TSW Imolas (similar)...back in 1996 on my civic.
Sold them after they got played-out...back in late 1996.

Look at Freeze's homepage, he has these in 19's. Thats the look that belongs on Max in this particular wheel, to fill up that wheel gap.

maybe u r right....prob. I will get sick of them in couple months... guess not too many people like them and now I am thinking that those tiny spoke will not match with the bulky body style of maxima....

I took at look at someone with the 18'....they look quite small on maxima (4th gen)....man, I want light rims....but seems at least I have to get 18'+.
