Yeah, during the movie, my son (12) poked me and said "checkout the Y2K Maxima...too bad it's short 33hp" (exact words)

Hey, does anyone know which town in Bucks County this movie was filmed in. I'm usually in Bucks County once every couple of weeks and wanted to checkout the shooting locations. (I'm not certain why they made Bucks County seem like a one horse town in the middle of nowhere, since its really a HUGE county with a very high population.)

Saw the movie tonight, and I also noticed it. My dad and I both saw it and pointed it out.

The movie made me jump a few times, had goosebumps during a lot of hte movie and kept me on the edge of my seat...it makes you think, not like some stupid gory movie about aliens vs humans. Thumbs up

Yeah.. I don't Shyamalan will ever make anything better than Sixth Sense. Unbreakable was a joke, Signs was getting to the right track, but didn't really have that much of a surprise ending like in his previous movies. That's his trademark, the surprise ending. However, in Signs, it's more "waiting for IT to happen" then unexpecting IT to happen.

liked the movie up until the end, kinda hitchcockian, but he should have ended it when they opened the cellar door - after that point it gets very dumb very fast. goofy hollywood ending IMHO.

Theo I'm worse than you: My wife and I actually drove to a couple of the filming locations yesterday. The restaurant "in town" is actually small restaurant called 'Mom's Bake at Home Pizza' and its on State St. in Newtown, Pa. (about a 40 min drive from my home in Somerset, NJ)

Sidebar: Making matters more pathetic, we drove to the Delaware Valley College farm#7 (Doylestown) where the actual cornfield is. It's alot more suburban around there than what the film reveals. (There's even a SEPTA passenger rail line a few hundred yards from the shooting location; not to mention a couple of major highways and loads of new and expensive single family homes in the immediate area)

I saw the Maxima too and wondered if others would post about it -- I guess the answer is "yes".

About the movie: Great filmmaking as far as M. Night's techniques for scaring people, however, the story is just plain weak in my opinion and the ending is downright silly. I like what he was going for (the whole coincidence vs. predetermination of fate), however, the story didn't carry it well. Good comedic moments of relief, though!

I guess I'm a little more skeptical of movies -- I figured out "Sixth Sense" before half of the movie was over.

I didn't see the flick yet. If they made it out to be a "one-horse town" it was probably shot in the Lahaska/Buckingham/New Hope vacinity, you know where they have all of those antique shops and horsie farms along route 202 and route 263 . . .

Like father like son - I've got a '96 Max, my dad's got his '02. It's kinda funny how we point out cool cars to each other on the road, (including all Maximas, of course). I also do it with my friend who has a '94. Other passengers in the car just don't understand us.
