Parts dept BLOWS
Parts dept BLOWS
My local dealership, Blue Mountain Nissan, has a terrible parts dept. I thought I would share my experience and see how many others feel the same way.
Several months ago I went down there to see if I could purchase a GXE trim piece to install my aftermarket stereo into, since it would match my interior perfectly. I learned that this part exists thanks to the org, but low and behold they said it didn't exist. So I purchased an aftermarket adapter that works okay, but not exactly what I wanted. Whatever.
So last month I went in to order silver-colored interior door handles/locks (instead of my black ones). Someone named Jeff looked it up and saw 2 part numbers but wasn't sure which one was the silver and which one was the black. So he took my phone # and was going to call me back. He never did. I called back 7 days later and spoke to someone else (Jeff's day off) and they said they weren't sure which part it was either but regardless they would require me to pre-pay for it first. I asked them to find out which part it was and they said just come down. I told them I had already been down there and should have had the stinkin' part in my greedy hands by now...but...whatever.
So I make one 5-minute phone call to Courtesy Nissan and give them my credit card number and before I knew it my new handles were in my greedy hands. Hooray for Courtesy Nissan! I can't wait to get the handles installed!!
Just thought I'd share.
