I love getting woken up at 7 am to be told that some stupid 16 year old female driver has plowed her stupid 1995 chrylser sebring into the rear of my car. That's really my favorite thign to hear in the morning. Especially when my car was in the body shop for more than a week about a week and a half ago. And the best part is, i go back to school in a little under 2 weeks, so I have to try and get it taken care of before then.

I hate female drivers!

yikes! so it was just parked outside the curb and she just slammed into the car??

 

i am too, i love my insurance company. state farm is awesome, very professional, nice, caring, and competent. i'm goign through her insurance which is farmers insurance. its horrible. i called their claim dept., the phone rang for 6 minutes, then some old lady got on and acted like i wasn't worth giving the time of day to. sorry, just venting.

and yes, i was asleep in bed, the car was parked right in front of my house, when this stupid girl just slammed into the back of it. she said something about the sun glinting off her windshield causing her to not see or something. but i don't see how you miss an entire freaking BLACK car! they kind of stand out in daylight!

at least she didn't cut out on u.. shoot there are tons of ppl out there that would hit and run. i lvoe state farm too, theyr'e awesome.. but i have heard horrid stories about farmers insurance too.. i'm just glad that hte perosn that hit me was also covered under state farm.

I've been listening to very angry music at very loud volumes, and that usually helps make me less angry...

tell her parents to spank her like she stole something (and since I don't think she's black ...they can't say what my mom told me one time "imma beat the black offa ya" everytime I think about doin something bad...my mind flashes back to that and I change my mind

Man, that hurts. I got hit by someone with Farmer's insurance once and they claimed she hadn't paid her premiums so they just dropped the claim. My insurance wouldn't pick it up since it was less than $500. Was about to threaten court action but finally got it settled...3 months later. Farmers is a PITA. Hope you get it fixed ASAP.

Sorry for your loss. I recently had my 6 month old 2k2 pelted with gravel, so I know your pain.

How they hell do you plow into a parked car to do that much damage. I hope her premiums go up so high she can't afford to drive.

 

Thank you all for the sympathy. after being on the phone basically from 8am till 2pm, i finally have everything worked. Farmers inurance is friggin incompetent. but i got them to ok MY body shop, admit fault, and pay for my rental. But, at least I'm getting it fixed before the weekend and having the rental car pick me up straight from the body shop.

The worst thing about it, is like a year ago, i saw a dog wandering around, brought it home, looked at the collar, and took it back to the owners. guess who it was that rammed my car this morning? the girl whose dog it was.

Nothing mailicious i'm sure, but i'm ****y and that just doesn't help...

Not to stereotype, but the things I see women doing while driving scares the crap out of me sometimes (I see men doing some pretty dumb stuff too).

A female friend of mine died several years ago when her car slowly crept into the oncoming lane and she rammed a van head on. The people driving behind her said she was looking and reaching back behind the passenger seat. What was in the back? Her CD case.

a) At least the person who hit yours had insurance. The doofus who hit mine didn't and stated he did.
b) I had to listen to Papa Roach after showing the guy the estimates for my '02 because I was beyond ****ed.

 

The same think happened to me last week at 5 am some chick hit the smae part of my bumper as yours and she tried running away. The miracle thing is that a cop was passing by and he saw the whole thing. They cought her 3 blocks down and she tried denying the whole thing, even though her bumper was lying righ next to mine. Wha a dumb a$$

 

Did they charge her with leavin the scene of an accident?

 

Yep she got arrested I think she was drunk too, cause she was leaving the club aroung 5 am, and when I looked into the back of the cops car her head kept on rolling around

Well, my GF of 2.5 years came back today after being out of town for 2 weeks. she gets in at 8am, i see her at 10pm. Sheis very flippant about the car, and instead of being comforting - starts a freaking argument about our relationship and how its going. I swear i almost broke up with her on the spot. My opinion of women in general just keeps going down and down.

Like my dad always says, "Can't live with em, can't shoot em"

And like tyler durden from fight club says, "We ...are raised by women, and i'm really wondering if another woman is the answer..."

And sorry ms.thicknes, there are exceptions (like you), but they seem far and few between. I wish you could mod your girlfriend. That'd be the shiznit. God, I've already spent enough money, I'd have pam anderson outside and mother theresa on the inside...

Oh man; I feel for you... one lady drove into me when I was in my car parked in a spot at a shopping center - keys in my lap - and I mean literally INTO ME. The ***** took out both driver's side doors - I'm surprised I had a B-pillar left.

How did she do it? She kept her foot on the gas while she was reaching into the backseat to grab something for her kid.

Personally I felt like just telling the cops she was fingering her kids and wanted to get her locked up for bad driving AND child abuse.. but I just didn't have it in me.

Bad drivers are everywhere... if you can, push them into a ditch or something - just make sure you don't hurt another driver or animal (those little furry black/white things are so cuuuuuuuute).
