20+ Horsepower gain??

Did anyone get this from ebay, i guess it tricks your car to think its getting cold air coming in? Does it work?

Link or somethin maybe?? Still dont know how it would work though. It may think that, but the engiens still not gettin any colder air..

Depending on the map of the engine, cooler intake air might give more advance, not unreasonable. Lie to the computer to get more advance with the device. This, of course, assumes a lot - like air temp is considered by the max program, and that there's more advance available.

Remember....

in the world of advertising, you can say anything if it is presented correctly. For instance, it is quite fine to say 'up to' in advertising even knowing full well the vast majority of times the product will not perform that well. For instance, and assuming they even have a test vehicle, if a very unique set of circumstances did gain HP, then a claim of 'up to' 20HP can be used (even if the actual gain is anywhere below that, including zero).
