Hello i have recently bought a maxima....the place i bought it from claims is a 2002 but on the door side it says 2001.....i have it in manual and the AC is not digital is the one where you have to turn it manually..you know what i mean....its at the lower part on the dashbord below the tape unit and radio.
I want to know what model is this in the USA becuase i want to order the aluminium dashkit from wwww.custommaxima.com
i need some help plz

That looks identical to my 2001, but I don't know if they made any interior changes to 2k2. the more important thing is, if the place sold you a car as a 2002 and it is really a 2001, they cna get in a lot of trouble for that. and you should be mighty upset. check your engine, if itsa the 3.5l its a 2k2, if its the 3l its the 2k1.

 

I have a 2k1 and a 2k2 and that's a 2k1. Looks just like mine. --Frank

 

the interior is slightly different in a 2k2, but the post right after yours says definitively that the car is a 2k1. what the place you got the car from did is extremely shady...if you find out for sure that it is a 2k1, i would make sure they get in trouble for that.
