JIC-Magic FLT-A2 Suspension Pics

In case you didn't know that these existed, JIC Magic is one of Japan's premeire suspension tuners. They make some of the best suspension products in the world. There is NO OTHER COILOVER SETUP FOR THE A33 THAT COMES CLOSE TO THE JIC'S. Quality, fit and finish, engineering, looks, adjustablity, and R&D is uncompromised.

Drooooooooooool.....

Man those would be sweet! Those JIC engineers are apparently color blind.:( Red with light purple, yuck!

Oh well, as soon as I have the money you'll be getting a call.

Also, it looks like you have MILES of room to drop down, so it would be APPRECIATED if you could lower it down and see how far she goes. At least 2" would be possible right?

BTW, in the camber plate pic, is that black ring between the chasis and nuts stock? If so, mine didn't come with that. I wonder what it's for.

It seems as if they removed this on the 2K1s, I saw 4 of them with no black rings, and almost all the 2Ks have that ring. I think it is useless to what I can see.

Maybe Nissan figured it was a waste, removed it, probably saved $1 per car x 20,000= $20000 in saving. You know how they are

Dude Cobymoby you da man, JIC Magic Rules, I love their AE86 Drift car, it's so sweet.
I wasn't aware they made parts for maximas(2000+).
Now that I know this I'm going to try and scrape up the dough!

For the level of performance you get out of them, they ride excellent. In comparison to normal performance springs (ie H&R) they are pretty stiff. I took Chinkzilla and some other .org members (sorry I forgot your names) for a ride when I first got them. They all liked the ride. I'm very happy with my current setup. :)

JIC coilovers
Addco sway
lightweight forged 3pc wheels (SSR GP-Theta)
245/40/18 Nitto NT-555 rubber

How about some figures on price? web site? etc?

Y2KevSE 08-13-2002 06:24 AM

How far can you go before bottoming out?

Right now the top of the tire is almost flush with the fender. I have not bottomed out or scraped yet.

My set is the protoype set. The production peices will have the brake line brakets.

Any idea when the production coilovers will be ready? Or is JIC still doing R&D.

What is your best price now? Could I use 7k front/5k back springs or it's gonna be extra?

I believe the default setting for maximas are 9k/6k..isn't that too stiff for street use???

Thanks

They are 9K/8K. You could use different springs but that would be extra.

Are you saying $9,000.00 cause JIC's website says $1,850.00

I want a set.

9,000/8,000 Kilograms per square centimeter. It is the spring rate or how stiff the spring is. The production parts will have 9K/7K per the JIC catalog.

Can custom K/cm^2 springs be ordered or do they only produce specific springs? Thanks.

What is the softest you can go with FLT-A2 system on Maximas?

Could I go with 7k/5k combo or even 6k/4k?

Thanks

You can get custom rates.

You can go as soft as you want, its up to you. I would not reccomend going that soft on a Maxima. If you were go 6/4 setup, it would defeat the purpose of buying a high performance setup like the JIC setup.

How do you like the ride/feel of the 9/8 combo? Was it too stiff...is that why the production set is 9/7?? Thanks!

The 9/8 combo is a bit stiff but I love it. The 9/7 combo would ride a bit better.
