Extended Warranty

I have a 2002 SE with about 22,000. Is it worth the money to buy the extended warranty since i will be over the 30,000 mile mark in less than a year? And if so, which one do you recommend. If I mod my car, will it invalidate the warranty should something happen. Just wanted to know what most of the members have done..

Well i have a 72000 miles extended warrenty and it covers all parts and services The only mod I have is an intake (K&M)and as long as u plug the oxygen sensor to the filter, the dealer dont have a problem. So far i have no problem with the warrenty and they changes everything for me no questions ask. So i think it worth it unless u can fix the problem your self.

i bought the gold warranty from nissan when i picked up my AE. they have always paid off in the past so i figured why not. i paid around $1100 for a zero deductible 100,000 warranty. you can check out my profile for my mods and i have not had a problem with nissan yet.

I say the warranty is worth it. If the tranny goes, it will be worth it.
