what should I buy for my 2k2 maxima? I dont know what to do. Ive got an intake but I dont really like it. should I get my windows tinted, or get an injen CAI? what are the choices?

 

If it were me, i'd do with either:

1) Addco rear anti-sway bar
2) Courtesy front strut tower bar

or

Stillen rear anti-sway bar

But that's just me. I'm happy with the engine performance of my Maxima, and I just want a bit of a handling upgrade.

 

I'd go with tints.. unless you're really into making the car go faster.. but tints always add to the cosmetic appeal of the car.. I've got mine done.. a cheap and effective way to make the maxima look a bit cooler than the next guy.. also, its good to keep the car cooler, literally, too.

 

I agree, although I went with the Stillen because IMHO it is a better design. You will end up a little over your $300 though.

 

then start saving your next three bills. By that time the Cattman Y-pipe should be available.

tints - approx $150.00
FSTB - approx $35.00-$50.00
Addco RSB - approx $115.00 (group deals)

$300 spent wisely will get you a set of H&R springs, installed. Lowering springs are an absolute must-have as a crucial step in making your car look and drive more sporty. I have H&R's with stock struts and shocks and I couldn't be happier about the look and feel. Flat cornering, nice ride, etc... Plus you drive up next to a BMW and your wheelgap won't make you feel like you are in a 4x4!

 

With tint, you will ALWAYS be happy everytime you look at your car, so its $150 well spent.

I say get an intake with the left over.
