also, my car is at 39,000 miles, will the dealer still do the TSB? thanks

 

Some TSB's come with a warranty (extension to regular warranty like the brake judder TSB) or some are just used for trouble shooting (like the coil TSB). The Fuel Cut problem should be covered by the powertrain warranty. Having the TSB in hand will "almost" guarantee getting the problem fixed.

 

Looks like the links to the TSB are dead all right. I'll send the TSB to Kevin and see if he'll host it. If you need it before then, PM me with your e-mail address and I'll send it to you. Make sure you send me an e-mail address that will accept a fairly large attachment. (Yahoo mail and Hotmail addresses usually don't work!)

 

Just go to 5th generation, and under "Important: Technical Service Bullitin", you will find the TSB for 2001 Maxima (for 2000 as well ? )
