Majestic Blue Pic Requested

Hello all, I am a proud owner of a 2003 Majestic Blue 6spd Maxima... only problem is I'm waiting for the dealer to find one, and I don't know what a blue one looks like. (I saw Perri's maxima... sweet) anyone with other pics or pics of a stock one?

Eagerly awaiting delivery... (car's somewhere in Vancouver or Japan!)

I don't know why, but for some reason, perry's majestic blue max look's lighter then the other majestic blue owners here. I guess its just the lighting and the awesome wax job.

Majestic Blue

http://mywebpages.comcast.net/jennifer.is/index.html

This was taken the day I picked my car up. The blue is a deep dark blue with metalic sparkles. Its almost black in some light. But it definately does not have a purple tint. Its very nice looking.

Yeah I agree, the pics of perry's majestic blue doesn't give you a good idea of what it looks like in person. On my computer it looks kinda purplish and lighter. In person its much darker blue in color. When I was buying my 2k2 max, I chose between the glacier pearl and the majestic blue, the reason why I chose white was because I've had bad experiences with dark color nissans such as scratches and ugly paint chips on the hood.

Re: Re: Majestic Blue Pic Requested

his car is pretty damn sweet. i think the majestic blue looks very different in different light settings - more so than any other color. at night, it can easily be mistaken for black, but in the sun, many people have said that my car almost looks like a bright denim blue.

Majestic blue just stands out more so than the rest of the Max colors even the New titanium ad Silver they just blend. People ask all the time if that's a factory color.

umm........wait a minute now....I'm confused here?? Is the zaino the reason why its nice and shiny or "fadingly-lighter" then the other majestic blue max's??

Perry, look on the bright side (no pun intended!)....at least you can say your majestic blue max is one of a kind!

The pics were taken at 6pm it was extreme bright even though the house is on a cul-de-sac and there are tall tree the sun light and zaino refect off of each other a lot making it hard to take a pic and ge the true dept of the blue as mentioned. In person the car actually looks darker but i do ad mit that when I'm inside looking through my windshield I can't see any blue in the front hood just the refection of the road and trees etc. The shine is like glass and that doesn't photograph well.

I have a Zainoed Majestic Blue 2k2, I don't have any any pictures up. The Z2 really makes the Majestic Blue bright. PerryMax, is that what you have on top? I usually leave z-5 on top and every once in a while add a coat of z-2.
With Zaino being so optically clear it really highlights the paint and it almost looks like a blue mirror, especially with z-2 on top.

But, I tell you there is nothing like a Zainoed car at night under gas station lights or parking lot light, people always ask me what I have on my car. It blings like a show car.

The day I took those pics the car had a top layer of Z6 (spray detailer) prior to that the top coat was 2 layers of Z5 scrach remover and underneath that lots of Z2 and Z5. I use both but I have more coats of Z2 than Z5 and at night it is almost spooky how the car looks as I'm drriving it and people just turn and stare like they are see a gost especially with the Zenons

Canadian AE's didn't have the bodykit

it came with everything standard (i.e. leather, VLSD, power/heated seats, block heater, HomeLink, etc) BUT the bodykit

It's done by hand a least 2 coat every weekend. I use ZFX and about a third of the mixing bottles equals 2 coats. What % tint do you have I'm guessing it's 20% or is it darker?
