dude get over it. You're driving a 30-thou car and you sure gonna find a few hundred bucks to hire a lawyer that would represent you in court.

I just got a 89 in a 55 construction zone. Got a lawyer and ended up with a parking ticket no points!!! Get a lawyer, it will pay for itself in a savings of insurance rates.

I hope you don't get off next time. I understand speeding on a clear highway (you risk your own safety) but to speed in a construction zone and risk making someone a widow?? Lawyers should be outlawed!

You know nothing about the facts to make an assumption!

*It was on a 6 lane highway.
*It was on a saturday with absolutely no workers even thinking of working.
*All the cones were cleared for the weekend as not to disrupt traffic during the weekend.
*It was about ummmmm 5am and not a soul on the road.

Lets see is that not a clear highway?? Was there anyone around?

NO!

I would not ever think of speeding like that in a occupied construction zone or even with other cars on the road.

Get the facts first!!!

You're right, I don't know the facts, I know the facts according to you. And you simply stated that you got caught doing 89 in a 55 construction zone. Now whatever the real circumstances were, how is it fair to turn a 34mph over the limit offence (mandatory license suspension here) into a parking ticket? I bet you will do it again and again if you can get away with it. So you have my best wishes to get caught before you hurt yourself and others.

empty 6 lane freeway.. going 34mph seems nothing to me, althought I agree it isnt correct, but I dont find it harmful..
