A good price on a 2003?

At this point in time with the Nissan Sales Event thing going on, what do you guys say would be a good price for a fully loaded 2003 Max; TE, leather, meridian packages with splashguards, cargo net, and wind deflector? I saw carsdirect.com's sale price with everything mentioned above and it actually came out to about $500 or $600 less then invoice. Their price was somewhere around $27,398. If I could get it for this price at the dealership, would it still be good or not?

Should I wait, or go in for the kill?

That's Pretty good. I got a toally loaded Titanium six speed with HLSD and Nav for 29,200 it would have been around 27,300 without the nav. IF you are getting a stick, make sure you get the HLSD. It will come with metal pedals, too.

I've looked at one dealership's lot already and they didn't have any 6-speed's available. There's another one I'll check out later this week. I've seen the traction control option tacked on with the auto's, so let's see if I can get a good deal! Thanks for the feedback.

Why spend $27k when you can get this:

"02 Nissan Maxima SE loaded, silver, low miles $19995"

I don't know about you but I can certainly use a few thousand $$ and still drive an almost new car.

Don't know where your from, but I haven't seen many 02's, if any at all, used for sale where I'm at. Either the mileage can't be that low or something's wrong with the car. Mind you, the 1st year resale value of a max is not great, but $20K loaded? Depending on how "loaded" is loaded, I'd be a little hesistant.

Of course, if its everything it says it is, much like you, I'm all for it.

This price is not an exception, there are at least half a dozen 2k2s in the paper in that price range. Good luck!

If you want one the is truly loaded, It will be 27k. I am not sure what the used 2k2s are, but the one for under 20 is probably not loaded. SEs can range a lot in price, depending on what options they have. Is the 2002 255 hp?

I was just at a dealership yesterday and noticed $30,500 for a fully loaded non-nav SE 6spd. It seems that in WI it's a lot more expensive!

I know what you mean. I'm in WI too, and every dealership I go to, I see loaded SEs all over $30K. I didn't know location made THAT much of a difference.

We just bought a 03' SE with everything but the Nav (meridian, titanium, etc.)and it was $27900 plus tax/tags.
For NJ that is a good price.
