15k miles and still running strong after the MAF went bad. It went bad with a stock intake. I am running Frankencar now but run the flex hose to the throttlebody and a secure mount at the strut. The MAF is installed vertically how it should, not horizontal.Originally posted by maxxxed out

Stay away from those aftermarket intakes or you'll be replacing another one , sooner or later!Originally posted by maxxxed out

Actually, considering it *seems* that the cause for the failure is the sensitivity of the MAF from the oil on the K&N's/MF then chances are you'll experience it sooner or later as well Originally posted by john2002max
