Nose Guard drawbacks?

I have been thinking about getting a Nose Guard for my 2001 White maxima and was wondering if there are any drawbacks to doing this. Does water get underneath and cause problems with the paint? Thanks for your advice.

If you put it on only when you need it there shouldn't be a problem. Otherwise, if you keep it there permanently (or for extended periods of time) you might have some paint problems in the future. (e.g. scratches, fading, etc)

edit: the above is assuming you'll be getting the traditional type bra. If you get the 3M Clear Bra you shouldn't have any problem.
