ERROR CODE!!! i dunno wut happend.. i let my friend install my new CAI!! so when he got done.. i took it for a test ride, it was good then out of now where i got a Service Code!! + Limp MODE" =*(** i didn't know wut the hell was going on so i look under the hood. And that CAI was out.. ((like where the AMS is located that tube sliped out)) That dumb @ss didn't put it on tight enough... At that point i was really pissed, so beat the $*** out of my friend.. ne way.. should i take it into the dealer n get it check out?? I mean after i put it back in place and made i tighter it worked fine.. but there still is a "Service Engine Soon" that shows up on the dash!! wut should i do?? some one??

Disconnect the battery for a few hours, then start it up again. This may reset the computer and make the error code go away.

Any work done on the car which may effect the electronic/computer controlled aspects of the car, you should first disconnect the battery so that when you connect it back, the computer will reset itself. Yes, you are brainwashing the computer.

What exactly did you do to make the taillamps clear? You posted in your mods that they are "Custom"! Would love to see them.

hey um yeah me n my friend did it.. its was a pain in the ***.. i dunno.. the way we did it was that we had to get the tail lights cut *the round part, with the red n clear*
after gettng it cut we cut the spacer in the middle that splits up the 2 lights.. so it would bcome one.. after that we had to find a clear plastic.. so if u look at your tail light it looks like that bottom part of the tail light.. (the clear part) after we got a clear plastic that looks like that we cut it out n sealed it to the part we cut off... makeing it clear.. after that we put it bac on n the put in the red led polarg lights.. i'm proud of my self its looks really good.. n the lights don't look pinkish at all its a nice full red..

but i think that i'm gonna try doing it again.. for my friedns car.. n if that works out as good as this.. i'm gonna post pics in how to do ifno... but my car pic will b up soon..
