Nice rims Enkei RPM2

Lightweight too! 18X8 weighs 19.4 lbs. Unfortunately, they cost MSRP $459 for the 18X8.

Once I get my Max I am planning on getting those wheels. Only in 17X8. I think those wheels are awesome. Weigh 16.8 pounds in 17x8.

Whalentire.com has the 17X8 for about $205.

Actually, it's more favourable than what you posted. As per the enkei website, it's 17.5 lbs for 18x8. As for the price, I've seen it for $250/wheel at whalen tire.

Glad to hear that! Lighter and less expensive is great by me. I was thinking if they cost more than $400, might as well get Volks. For $250 each, whata bargain!

Actually, I checked the ad in Superstreet and it lists the 18X8 at 19.4lbs. The Enkei website says it weighs 17.5lbs, and the Whalentire.com site says it weighs 18.5lbs. Weird eh?

Strange indeed. However, I think the explanation lies in the offset of the wheel being weighed. The lower the offset the heavier the wheel for the same diameter and width(18x8 +35 offset weighs a little more than 18x8 +40 offset which weighs a little more than 18x8 +45 offset, etc., etc.).

Good theory, probably true. Either way, pretty awesome wheel considering it weighs under 20lbs and costs only $250 each.

http://www.fiercecars.com/specs/rimweight.shtml has a list of weights for a wide variety of rims, including some oem rims on vehicles. It shows the Enkei RPM-2 18x8 listed as 17.5lbs

Hmm, not bad, but I hope I like them better in Hyper Silver. The hyper black wheels on super black Maxima doesn't look perfect to me.
