Wiggle under heavy braking ? ?

I was on the interstate this weekend, and a huge slowdown started. I braked heavily and it seemed like traffic was moving again, and then everybody just came to a complete stop. I gave the brakes a pretty good press to stop pretty quickly, and i felt what i would describe as a wiggle from the rear end. This is the first car i've had with ABS, i was wondering if this was normal or if this was something that i need to get checked out while i'm still under warranty. Thanks, and sorry if this is an old topic.

Probably ABS, but I'm surprised you felt it from the rear versus the front brakes. It might have been brake judder (warped rotors), but I don't think 2K2s have that problem?

It's not your ABS, you will know when it kicks in believe me!

It's just you *** lifting up and the road irregulatiies...nothing to worry about.

Look up 'brake judder' using the search funtion and see if what you are feeling is described there.

From what you have described, contrary to other posts here, I would say sounds like rotor issues.
