You should just have to grab a hold of the **** and twist it counter clockwise. It's probably on there like a mother so take your time and be careful.

Thats what I thought. I think I have the same shifter you ordered. Just twist. Its screwed on .... It does take some muscles to get it off...

where did you guys get your momo shift **** at?

so you just twist the shifter? you don't have to remove the center console first?

Thanks guys, the shift **** is installed, i will post pic soon!! but thign is that, i dont have enough muscle, so i got to use a wrench with a soft cloth to twist it!! And Trunksu, i got my on ebay, very reasonable price! and u only have to keep twisting the **** counter clockwise, then it will come off!! Very simple if u do it like me, wrench and soft cloth!!

Thanks guys

I have the 2k2 model, they dont have the overdrive button! just the **** itself. The over drive for 2k2 auto is to shift down to 3rd gear.

P.S My car doesn't look like that though!
