H&Rs w/ Stock Shocks?

Would anyone recommend installing H&R's with stock stocks. Because I have the money for install and the springs are sitting in my garage. My only thing is will the ride be harsh because I have 18's on my car right now. Should I wait off and install them when I get KYB's in a few months? please provide some light

thanks

I have H&Rs on my stock shocks and I love the ride. Handles better and looks 100% better.
I wasn't planning on getting new shocks. In your case if you sure going to install different shocks later, I would wait now and do springs and shocks at the same time.

Danny,

What did the H & Rs run you? I keep meaning to get them. My wife's 02 Auto compared to my 00 Auto is lacking big time when it comes to body roll, etc...It sounds like you got the feel and look to boot that I want for her car. The ride's not too harsh either right? Thanks.

Dany,

You don't have rims on your car right? was there a noticable difference in the quality of your ride? Plus my shocks are 3 years old now so i dunno if that will make a difference

thanks

If you can wit for the shocks do so and get the springs and shocks installed at the same time it will save time and money but I have stock shocks with H&R springs right now.

i have H&Rs on my stock struts right now. at first the ride was fine then it started to get really bouncy. then i put my 18s on and the ride seems to have stiffened up a lot. i like the ride with my 18s more than i liked it with the stock 17s.

but i do regret not getting struts when i got my springs. if i could do it all over again, i would do both.

dont pay someone to install it for you. do it yourself. you'll be glad you did. its not as hard as you think. just find a friend that can help you out a little bit.
