I am going to change the front brake pads on my 2KSE and most of the Org. members seem to use a metal based pad. I noticed that there is a newer generation of pad that has ceramic instead of metal.

Does anyone have any experience or knowledge of the ceramic pads (Akebono is one example) as compared to the metal based pads?

Raybestos Quiet Stop Brake Pads

 

As far as I know the raybestos quiet stop are really hard to find. Timw is still in search. Anyone who has them please post some feedback let us know if the search is worth it.
