I ended up making the final four in the bracket racing tonight too. Not bad for my first time doing it. I lost in the semis to a F150 lightning. Those are so damn fast. I was surprising the pants off of people and I got so many compliments. I had the dial in set at 14.69 for the bracket racing. People were like "no way!", so I had to prove them wrong. Heh Heh Heh.

Once the bracket racing started though, I didn't have a R/T slower than .61. I wasn't too worried about it on that run...just wanted a good 1/4 mile

Great run!! Your 60ft is the main reason 2.2!! I have tried many times to better my 2.3 but I wheel hop sooooo bad. I am definately going to have to get a y-pipe now.

What PSI did you have your tires at?
What was your launch technique?

I had the front tires at 22 psi, rear at 36.

For the launch, I was holding the RPMs at about 2500, and then feathering the clutch so it spins for about half a second and then hooks up. I tried just flooring it off the line and dumping the clutch once, but I spun all the way through first gear. I found my best trap speeds came when I shifted at 6600 from 1st to 2nd, and shift at 6300 from 2nd to 3rd.

One thing I forgot to mention...I was getting a "chirp" shifting from 2nd to 3rd!! I couldn't believe it!
