Does anyone have some feedback on the Stillen Supercharger kit? I am looking at installing the kit on my 2001 se 5spd. I was going to do a custom intercooled system with the kit as the base. Any positive or negative feedback from experiences with a supercharged Maxima would be great.

 

Make sure you have back up funds. Your about to make your car a Tunner car. By tunning I mean TUNNING almost every other day.

If you can afford it, do it. No major concerns to be worried about but you must know what you are doing if you get one. Do alot of research with the search function on here and learn everything you can. You also want to be involve with the install if possible so you know your SC setup in and out. Once again...LEARN AS MUCH AS YOU CAN BEFORE YOU INSTALL IT!! Its a big commitment but it wont be too much bother if you know how to handle it... Good luck.

I wonder if the intercooler plays a big role in supercharger...I know vortech has aftercooler to cool the air drawn into the supercharger. but will cooling outside air before it is drawn into the SC helps in getting higher boost?

 

Intercooler after the supercharger. If you do it before the charger, the compressed air gains heat and that would cancel the intercoolers affect.
