Lower GAP between rt side pasenger doors

Does anyone’s right side front door stick out a little more than their drivers side door at the bottom?. The left side looks perfectly flush at the bottom the way it should be. The right side front door sticks out about a quarter of inch when looking at it from the front of the car. I was at the dealer last night getting my oil changed and noticed that none of their cars look like this.I asked my sales person and he said thats just how they are and no car is perfect. I am considering calling Nissan and complaining or taking it to a body shop and seeing if there is anything they can do. I just bought my car in June. Did I get a bad apple? I thought I looked over the car completely I guess I didn't. I know these cars are massed produced but this sucks.

mine does the same.....I am waiting for "good" weather so i can take it to the service dept.

i want to address the door that appears to be off track and my rapidly disappearing paint

hopefully it will be sunny on Saturday and I can go then (crossing fingers)

I went to the dealer a couple of months ago to look at the cars on the showroom floor to see if the doors were off.....they of course were not

so the guy who sold me my car came up to me asking what was wrong and I told him....he went out to the car and looked at it and said that it was off center...but the part that needs to be adjusted is where the hinge is because the gap between the driver's fender and the door should be of equal size all the way down and mine isn't .....but if you go and look on the passenger's side...the gap is the same size all the way down

I just haven't taken the car in to have them "adjust" the door

before you go to a bodyshop....see what your local nissan service dept. can do for you (use my description if necessary)

I also think that the door being ill-adjusted accounts for the sound it makes when I close it (I always do it twice cause its sounds like it didn't close)

pm me if you want me to take pics of my doors for comparison

Ms T,

Thanks for your response I knew that I couldn't be the only person with this problem. Did your dealer say that they would be able to fix this for you?

I looked at my car again and it seems that the gap or should I say overhang is more noticeable at the bottom. It’s not a straight line by the side skirts.

If you have any pictures that would to compare with that would be great. Thanks again.

this is the driver's side

notice how the gap at the top of the door is HUGE but gets smaller as it gets to the bottom of the car

this is the passenger side and the gap is the same size from top to bottom of the door

I hope the pictures make what I am talking about clear!!!
