Working Per Factory Design at This Time !

Well Thus far having 4000 miles on my Maxima 2002 SE. I was getting tired of the timing chain noise cold start up's and the neck jerking hesitation at stop lights and what I thought high RPM's at start up concerns to my Dealership. After 2 hours the results were Everything is working "Per Factory Design at this time". Funny thing is comments regarding why my car hesitates at stop lights is because the 3.5 has a two stage "Plenum". It takes time for the secondary stage "Plenum" to kick in which causes a hesitation from a stop. It reminds me of the primarys and secondarys on a Holly carb I had on my Rally Sport Camaro..... Oh it was a 1971....... funny It didn't have any problems at stop lights.... that was 31 years ago....... Im I asking to much from a computor controled high tech engine......... well I guess I'll be waiting for the recalls.......

Welcome to the wonderfull world of emissions control. I wouldn't blame Nissan on this one, they are just doing the best they can within EPA guidelines and that is fine wth me. Oh, I wouldn't wait to long for those recalls, b/c they aren't coming.

It's normal and seems to only occur during cold start-ups/weather.

cold start up's and
What's wrong with that?

the neck jerking hesitation at stop lights and
I know there's a hesitation, but neck jerking?

what I thought high RPM's at start up concerns to my Dealership well
High RPM's are common on cold start-ups, wait a couple of minutes and it should normalize.

I guess I'll be waiting for the recalls
There are already a couple, check your VIN and Nissan to see if your vehicle is in need of the fixes. (e.g. Pedal stop and Transverse Axle)
