20" Wheels yes or no.

I found these on wheelmax.com for only $2740 for wheel/tire package the offset is 5X114.3 5X120. I think they look real clean for 20" wheels and would look good on Majestic Blue. What do yall think of the wheel. At the very least these would be a good choice for someone debating on what wheel to get if they really want a 20" wheel.

The tire package includes Nittos in 245/35/20

Don't put 20"s on your car! It looks great with the current setup. 20"s are too big.

No no I wasn't going to put them on my car personally I don't think they would fit since I have springs, but I do think thy look good to be 20" the tires would probably rub on my Max with a 35mm side wall.

Those are some of the cleanest looking dubs I've ever seen. Usually, it seems rims made 20" or bigger look like they're inspired by Navigators and Escalades, not cars.

That said, I wouldn't do it. On any Max. I have relatively light 18s on my Max and I feel like I can tell a difference in off-the-line performance. The extra weight just wouldn't be worth it to me. I like a little show, sure. But, those are going to be so freakin' heavy.

In the end, though, I always come back to this: Do what you want. Naysayers will always be there. And they're allowed to be wrong.

Too much wheel, not enough tire for my tastes. Plus for that kind of money you can do some serious engine or suspension mods.

Wow, I actually like those wheels, and I hate chrome! I'm more performance-minded, so I'd prefer an 18" lightweight wheel versus 20" chrome show-off wheels. But those do look nice! For that price, you could get some Volks.

Okay folks one last time I'm not putting those rims on my car I have more important things to do than go out and buy another pair of rims.

With that being said I still do some window shopping and I came across these 20" wheels for a good price and I just though they would look good on a Majestic Blue Maxima for anybody interested in 20"

those are best look 20' I've seen for a car. The tire size is unual for 20" wheel though it has more side wall 35mm instead of 30mm the norm that is why I say I don't think they will fit my Max with springs w/o rubbing.

Those wheels are SICK! I hate chrome, but if I had a dark car (and $3000) I would buy them in a second!

Those things are gonna be WELL over 30 pounds! You'll need the supercharger to make up for the extra weight!

I love 20's, but I think 19's are about the biggest you should go on the Max.

Those Dubs look sick. After driving my car for more than a year and a half, I have found that Flossing is better than running 13's and looking stock. When you roll up with a PHAT set of wheels like those DUBS you just posted, to a club, you get VIP parking without even asking. Roll up on crappy 17's and say " But I run 13's.".. and they laugh at ya... I want both, performance and Flossing ! I went 19's which will soon be chromed...... But there are a lot of BLING haters on this forum......

Those wheels look wicked and will not rub !

And to all you dorks saying 20's make you so SLLOOWW ... explain to me how my buddy ran a 13.9 stock in his F150 Harley Davidson on Chrome 20's......

Maybe your buddy would've run 13.5 or 13.3 without those heavy bastages. Which is really the point.

Call anyone a dork if you want. Just do it before you lose.

Thats a pretty stupid comment since they come stock....change a simple pulley and your in low 13's.. which will smoke you and most people on this board, and still look FLY ! ... Go back to the drawing board, or why dont you go to 14's.... ?

Kloogy: First "dork," now "stupid"?

If you're such a genious, you'd get the point: less unsprung weight (geez, less weight anywhere) will mean more power is left to get you going where you're going faster.

I don't care if Ford put them on there stock. There's a ton of cars that come with heavy *** stock rims. And many of them are swapped out for light, after market ones. Why? To get more ponies moving you instead scoring style points with your crew.

And keep the insults down. Fact is, all other things being the same, the car with less weight at the wheels has an advantage. And that helps its chances of winning. You're with me on that, right?

Bro, in case you dont know me. I can give a rat's A$$ what anyone thinks of what I say or do. I am not out here to make you or anyone else approve of my mods, or my car. I buy what I want, and I FLOSS 24/7.... All I know is that if you have the ***** to back up your ride, you can roll on whatever you want, and still smoke most cars. Put 20's on a 2K3 Cobra and I Guarantee you I can still get it into the 12's..... I have been racing Fords and GM's since 1988.... when youy have HP and torque behind you, who cares what you roll on. Oh, and like I said , the F150 Harley will STILL smoke you and I !

I agree with Kloogy, With my 18" I get the best of both world I floss 24/7 and I'm still pushing one of the fastest sedans on the roads here. Chrome rims get a lot of attention there isn't a day that goes by that I don't get asked about the car.

You will be surprise by how many people on the org like chrome rims I get PMs from folks all the time asking me where I bought my 18" from etc... Most are just ashamed to admit it because they do want all the performance guys jumping down their throat as Most are doing in this tread.

Why bytch about what Joe does with his Max, so what woop-dee-do! Lets just all enjoy our Max and $2740 for chrome 20" is a steal... I paid $2400 for my 18" in comparison

im all about the bling, i just cant afford rims otherwise id throw 18's on. but the biggest drawback from getting chrome is that attention, its good, but the negative attention is what gets your rims jacked. but imo, its worth it to bling all day. when you drive by on 16's to make you go faster people arent gonan be like wow he must do a 14.4. now if you drive by on 18's chromed then people will be like wow who drives that. thats what i care about.

If I got the HP and torque behind me, I could roll 30" rims on a school bus and smoke your F150 Harley.

I saw a 5th gen on 21's here yesterday, when I was getting my alignment done at a wheel place.. pretty damn big, 20's fit the wheel wells perfectly.

I'd like 20's, but my 19s coming this week were free.

Jeez, I had to pinch myself because for a second I thought I was on Club Si with as this talking of "flossin' 24/7", "cruizen' on the bling-bling", "rollin the chromes", "pimpen", "haten' on Joe Blow's ride", etc

Kloogy-
If you were to post to Mustang forums about putting 20s on a 2k3 Cobra, you'd get ripped on from all directions. I REALLY doubt you could pull off 12s on a set of 20s on the 2k3 Cobra (if 20s would even clear the IRS). Think about it. The 20s have extremely short sidewalls (rubber band like) therefore you'd NEVER hook up. NEVER!!! Lower profile tires are horrible for straightline traction. There's a reason dragracers run small rims and tall tires. I'll let you figure out the physics behind it since you know everything about Stangs. That HD F-150 is quick because it has over 400 ft/lbs of torque at it's disposal plus the tires on 20s aren't terribly low profile. Keep rolling on those huge rims you've got on your Maxima and be happy driving a slower car, but don't tell me that large and heavy rims don't negatively impact a low HP and low TQ car like the Maxima.

Large and heavy rims negatively affect:

1) Acceleration AT ALL SPEEDS
2) Handling
3) Ride
4) Braking

Heavy rims positively affect:

1) Your image (debatable)
