New Rims
New Rims
I'm thinking about getting some new wheels for my Sheer Silver MAX SE. There called Enkei Bortex RPM2.here's the link: http://www.groupbuycenter.com/buy.asp?row_id=7101
Also should I elect for 17" or 18"; these wheels seem pretty light
Let me know. TIA

I have these rims at 18 x 8 on my 2K Grey Lustre. I think they're as good as the OZ rims I have on my 2K Celica. And the weight is hard to argue with. I think you'll be happy with them.
BTW, I went with 245/40 for tires. But only because I have the 8 in. wide rim (they make an 18 x 7.5, so be sure you get the right one if you want to go 245 on the tire). My Max is also lowered with H&R springs. The ride is fine and no rubbing.
Looks tight, as some like to say.

I was posting just as you were, too. I got my rims and tires from them. The nice thing, if you have a problem, you can take them back to a local Discount Tire Direct, you don't have to ship someplace. I've ordered rims from Tirerack, too, and they're good. But, Discount Tire seems to be in every city and it's nice to drive down and get your stuff fixed without shipping anything.
